Eric and I loaded up our 2 little ones and headed to the Topeka Zoo to meet some friends. (Jaedin was super lucky and got to spend the weekend with Paige at Uncle Brent's house in Salina.) Neither Talin or Remi remember going to this zoo from last year. I think they were expecting the Omaha Zoo...which they do remember. I love the Topeka Zoo because you can see everything in 1-2 hours. We walked the entire zoo and then headed over for a train ride. Boy was Talin excited! After the dads and kids went on a train ride, we had a McD's picnic in the park and then headed home for naps. What a fun summer day!
