Pumpkin Fun with Cousins!

We went to Louisburg this past weekend to celebrate some birthdays with Eric's family. The kids had so much fun playing with all their cousins. Their wonderful Aunt Diane went and picked 9 pumpkins...boy did they have fun decorating and carving those.

Lost tooth #5 - from the top this time!

Jaedin lost her 5th tooth! This time it was a top tooth...it was so loose after school she was talking funny. Now she can't keep her tongue out of the hole. The tooth fairy was extra nice and left her $5, a new Polly Pocket (for being extra brave and pulling it herself) and some fairy dust on her forehead.

Yet another celebration...

My wonderful neighbor, Linda, has a birthday the day after mine so we got to co-celebrate at a neighborhood BBQ. Thanks so much mom for hosting a very fun night! There are definite advantages to having a birthday over a long holiday weekend.

Celebrating with my girls...

My wonderful BFF planned a perfect night of celebrating my 30-fo birthday with my bestest friends. We went to a yummy dinner, enjoyed delicious cake, and then went to watch Mr. Bradley Cooper in the movie "All About Steve". It was a perfect night! Thanks Nora! :-)

Omaha Zoo! (day 2)

We all woke up early on Sunday morning to head to the Omaha Zoo. We all were excited! We got there right after it opened and lasted over 4 hours! The kiddos did great and loved seeing all the animals. We rode the carousel, the train, and walked a lot! The kids even got to go up front to the engine of the train and get a picture with the engineer. After much walking, we took a break and had some lunch. Once our tummy's were full, it appeared to be getting close to nap time (didn't check the clock, could just tell by listening to the kids). We made our way to the front of the zoo and decided we had been successful at visiting the Omaha Zoo. We also decided it is a zoo we will come back to soon!

The kids were so tired they fell asleep right away once they were in the truck. They slept more than halfway home which made the trip very quiet for mom & dad.

What a wonderful way to spend my birthday weekend! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and 3 precious kiddos!!!
