Turner Camping Adventures

We decided to try a little camping this 4th of July holiday. We got a spot by our friends, the Weems, for 3 nights at Lake Perry. Close to home...yes! We headed out to set up our wonderful Minnie-Winnie early Friday evening. We grilled and the kids stayed up late playing around with friends. Just like at home, the kids went to bed like champs (minus a couple of mishaps from Remi) and slept great all night. Yeah - we all made it ALL night in the camper!

Saturday night we headed to our neighbor friends, the Spurlings, for a BBQ and fireworks. After much fun, Remi was ready for bed before the others so I took her home to crash in her own bed. Eric, Talin & Jaedin headed back to the campsite for another night of fun. Jaedin & Talin both slept until almost 10am! Lots of fun = tired kids!

Sunday we decided to pack up the campsite and head home because of ALL the rain. Eric's brother, Matt, was in town so we decided to just stay at home and invite some friends & family up to our shop for a BBQ and fireworks. Being home is so much easier with little ones. Miss Remi put herself to bed around 8pm when she got tired. The other kids were able to just run and run and run...in the rain! I'm pretty sure that a good time was had by all!
