WU Softball Camp

Jaedin attended the Washburn University 2-day softball camp &  loved it!  She was the youngest player there out of about 70 girls.  She learned a ton and worked so hard.  The best part...she was awarded the "Most Coachable" award!  They only handed out four awards and she got one of them!  Needless to say, DAD is over the moon!!!

Dad had a poker fundraiser, Talin had a sleepover at nana's...so Jaedin invited a couple of friends over and we had a GIRLS NIGHT! 

Love this...I use to do the same thing with my friends at sleepovers.

Cake time!

Concordia Bound...

After a couple of early basketball games, we loaded the Yukon and hit the road.  We were Concordia bound to celebrate GG's (my grandma Jean) 89th Birthday.  First stop...the hotel to check in and then off to GG's house to spend some time visiting.  After a yummy dinner at the Country Club, we headed back to the hotel for some time in the chlorine.  Our kids do LOVE to swim!

The Turner clan (minus sickly Remi who was receiving special TLC from nana) headed to the Topeka Expocentre for Arenacross fun!  Thanks to Grandma Janet & Papa Roy for getting tickets for all 8 of us and also to Matt & Sara for the company.

Jr Kaws Basketball 2012

We're off to another season of Jr Kaws basketball...except this year we have 2 players to cheer for!  Both Jaedin & Talin are playing basketball and we couldn't be more excited.  Jaedin is on the 1st/2nd grade girls team and is #23.  Talin is on the boy/girl combo Kindergarten team and is #10.  Both kids had their first game and WON!  Eric is coaching Jaedin's team again this year.  He really wishes he could have coached Talin's too but with all his traveling that just isn't possible.  (Remi woke up with the tummy flu so I stayed home with her and missed the games.  Thanks to nana, we have a couple of photos!)
