Love Day 2010
We had a lot of fun celebrating Valentine's Day! The girls opened their presents as soon as they got dressed. Talin had been lucky enough to go to GG's house with nana for the weekend so he opened his as soon as he got home. They all loved their treats but I think the box of Valentine's was the biggest hit! They are still playing with them.

Girls Night In!!!
The Turner girls with their matching toes
Sisterly love
It's Saturday night and guess where the Turner girls were??? HOME! (Talin was with nana in Concordia visiting GG and daddy was at a Nascar draft.) After Jaedin's Valentine gymnastic party in Lawrence, we went out to eat and ran a few errands. Once we got home, we made a plan...
1. Bath
2. Bake cookies
2. Bake cookies
3. Mini-pedi's with pink polish
4. Watch movie & snack on cookies
5. Bed!

We had SO much FUN!!! Jaedin and Remi think it's super cool that we all have matching toes. I love making memories like this!

Kitchen Time
If you know me, you know that I don't like to spend much time in the kitchen. I like to bake and I love to eat but I'd much rather be doing just about anything than cleaning up messes in the kitchen. The morning started out with Talin begging me (with his precious eyes) to make muffins for breakfast. I initially said 'no' but after he gave me his "I'm really hungry for muffins, mommy" line, I buckled and we headed to the kitchen. Muffins were delicious and enjoyed by ALL!
Same day...all the kids were doing the cookie dance. Really, more kitchen time? I gave in again and headed to the kitchen. Oh no! We were out of the break apart, slap on the cookie sheet, toss in the oven kind. What now??? Well, we searched the cabinets for all the needed ingredients and got lucky. We had them all! Sadly, I can't remember the last time I made chocolate-chip cookies from scratch. They were even more delicious than I remembered!
