100 Days Smarter/Happy Birthday, Kansas!

We had fun celebrating the 100th day of school which happened to fall on Kansas' 153rd Birthday this year! I surprised the kids with a special dinner party. Simple ideas I had from teaching younger grades. :) Their favorite part…the horns, of course!

Meet Frosty...

It's tooooo cold to be outside so we shall build a snowman indoors!

This is Mr. Frost, our melting snowman. I purchased this for the kids locally after a friend told me about it. So much fun! They have probably built Frosty no less than 50 times. You can do it over and over and over again!

Legoland…at home!

We have A LOT of Lego's! A LOT! This is just the new stuff from Christmas. Eek! I do love watching the kids play today and be creative…and NOT on technology. ;) Most of our Lego's are currently in storage though. I can't wait to see what they'll create when they have them all back again!

Our Sweet Jaedin…does it again!

You may remember this sweet face making the news last year. (2012 story) Well…she is back and donating. Instead of presents for her 10th birthday, she once asked for donations for the American Red Cross again. Last year, she wanted to raise money for Hurricane Sandy. This year, she wanted to raise money for the flooding in Colorado. Regardless, she is one giving child that we are beyond proud of!

So excited to be back in Topeka at the American Red Cross
