Fury Softball ~ Phenix Slugfest 2015

Super Sister Saturday!

We went straight from League Gymnastics to Softball in Lawrence. Love every minute of it!

These sweet girls went 2-3 at the Phenix Slugfest in Lawrence. I was so busy keeping the score book that I've really failed at getting any photos of Jaedin on the field. Eek! Super proud of Jaedin though as she worked so hard to be a fighter in the batter's box. We had a 5 hour rain delay Sunday morning and truly had an exciting rally at the bottom of the 4th inning battling back. In the end, we were one run short and the weekend was over for us. Hopefully next weekend we'll bring our excitement and motivation! Love these girls!

League Gymnastics

Remingtin competed in her League Championship Gymnastics Meet and placed 3rd All Around! (Actually she tied for 2nd place but they break the tie with the highest individual event score and she missed out by .1!)

So very proud of this little gal! She has worked her tail off and the love she has for this sport is so strong. If she isn't at Byrd's practicing with her team, you can usually find her on her bar or beam at home or tumbling away in the living room. Super excited to see what the future holds for her.

Jaedin...Braces...Set #2

What did you do on Good Friday? Well, for Jaedin the day wasn't exactly "good". She had her second set of braces put on. Prior to her appointment, we let her pick lunch out. She chose Applebees because she loves their Molten Cake. Her mouth is quite sore but she's been a trooper through it all! We can't wait to see her smile in a year...or so. :)

In true Jaedin fashion, a delicious dessert was thoroughly enjoyed!

Happy April Fools' Day!

Pretty sure this holiday is rapidly climbing to #1 on my favorite list. :) I love thinking of and acting out pranks...specifically on my own children.

Here's a few of the pranks from this year....

BEFORE SCHOOL

Kids woke up to a hallway lined with stuffed animals. This probably made them laugh the most!

We always lay out school clothes the night before. Hmmm..somehow they all go switched up!

Food coloring in the bottom of the cereal bowl made for a colorful milk surprise!
