Pre-Easter Fun!

What a beautiful Saturday! We spent the morning huntin' for treat-filled eggs, playing outside, and coloring Easter eggs. The kids had a blast...it's funny how each year they enjoy it just a little bit more and look forward to our growing list of family traditions.

It may just me but I think sleeping kids at any age are precious. I have noticed lately that I have some pretty stinkin' cute sleeping kids. Here's some pics I've randomly taken.

Yep, dad brought home another surprise. Mom isn't a fan of it...yet. Our kids do truly LOVE anything that makes noise and goes fast but their favorite thing to do is anything that is outside!

Trapped Leprechauns?

Jaedin was very excited to return to school after Spring Break...so she could see if she trapped any leprechauns with her fancy Leprechaun Trap. She strategically placed her "trap" by the exit door in the classroom. She was just sure she'd get the leprechaun as he entered the classroom. When she returned...she didn't find a leprechaun in her trap but she did find a classroom that had been visited and left in shambles. Chairs knocked over, crayon crates dumped out, mini furniture unorganized, gold coins & candy on the floor...but no sign of a trapped leprechaun. Maybe next year!

Playdate!

Our sweet friends Grae (3yrs) & Blakely (18mo) came over for a play date Thursday morning. We had so much fun playing outside in the beautiful sunshine and then we had a pizza picnic inside on a blanket. We can't wait to get together again soon!

St. Patrick's Day 2010

Despite the fact that it was rainy & cold, we had a lot of fun on St. Patrick's Day this year. Thanks to a wonderful friend/coworker, we started the morning off with some fun new (hand-me-down) toys. Check out these dollhouses...

After nap time, we made & decorated some yummy St. Patrick's Day cupcakes. Mmmmmm! We even delivered some of our specials treats to nana & papa and some wonderful neighbors.

Jaedin & Paige had matching shirts for the day and didn't even know it!
