Catching Up!

Here's some pics from the month that I haven't gotten around to post until now...we've been having lots of fun playing!

Jaedin was a little nervous about going to the cheer clinic hosted by the PLHS cheerleaders. It was on a Sunday afternoon and she just wanted to stay home. Luckily, my best friend was also helping with the clinic so she took Jae that afternoon. I was very nervous she would be shy and not like it. Boy was I wrong! She came home very excited and counted down the days until the "big game". Finally, Friday night was here and it was time for some high school football. Jaedin got all bundled up and practiced some cheers and we headed to the game. The girls did a great job cheering and they had a ton of fun. GO KAWS!

Eric has been crazy busy at work so the time we have with him at home is very precious. By the time he gets home, I'm a little exhausted (to say the least) so he gets lucky and savors "storytime" with the kids each night. Here's some special moments I snapped while he was reading. Love it!

I was lucky enough to meet a wonderful lifelong friend while I lived in Manhattan for college. She is getting ready to have her third baby, a BOY this time! I had a wonderful time helping host a baby shower in her honor. Congrats Shannon!!!

I love my job!

Things are going great as a Library Media Specialist! I am truly enjoying my job and I love working with the younger kids this year. I'll be very glad when I'm done taking classes through FHSU...one 2 more to go until I'm officially certified. :-)

The kids were very excited for the annual Homecoming parade & bonfire. We loaded them up and utilized Uncle Bill's driveway (prime spot...thanks!!!). It was a bit chilly but the candy made up for it.

Pumpkin Fun with Cousins!

We went to Louisburg this past weekend to celebrate some birthdays with Eric's family. The kids had so much fun playing with all their cousins. Their wonderful Aunt Diane went and picked 9 pumpkins...boy did they have fun decorating and carving those.

Lost tooth #5 - from the top this time!

Jaedin lost her 5th tooth! This time it was a top tooth...it was so loose after school she was talking funny. Now she can't keep her tongue out of the hole. The tooth fairy was extra nice and left her $5, a new Polly Pocket (for being extra brave and pulling it herself) and some fairy dust on her forehead.
