We were going a little stir crazy with all the rain so Eric and I loaded up the kids and headed to Chuck E. Cheese for some fun. Fun was had by all for sure!

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!!!

The rain ruined our day of boating fun so we loaded up Nora's Honda Pilot and headed to Lawrence for dinner & fun at Kokoru's Japanese Steak House. Yes, all 8 of us road together. Oh, the memories! After dinner, we headed to The Barrell House for some piano entertainment. We love our friends!!!!

Jumping Fun!

Each summer I have a garage sale to "clean out". We are done having Turner babies so it's usually kid clothing and toys. This summer I did a major overhaul of the basement and ended up making over $800 on the garage sale! The kids even picked out toys they no longer played with to sale. We decided they could use their money to buy a trampoline for the family (I chipped in a little too). It has been a lot of fun...not to mention great exercise!

Kramer! The newest member to the Turner family!

Our wonderful neighbors needed to get rid of their friendly bird and we were the lucky recipients. Kramer is a very friendly and fun addition to our family. The kids love to uncover him each morning and I hear lots of "Good Morning, Kramer" over and over and over. It's been great to hear his chirping and talking throughout the summer days. His big trick is whistling the Andy Griffith theme song. The house gets silent in a second when he starts and the kids freeze until the whole song is over. Adorable!

Rain = Picnic Fun INSIDE

We were headed to the playground for fun & a picnic...then it started to rain. Uh oh! Quick change of plans that consisted of lunchables in the living room while watching Shrek 2 made for 3 happy kiddos!

Dinner Cruise...Part I

One of our favorite things about being boat owners is taking the boat out for a dinner cruise with friends. We always hope to do this at least once a weekend but that just isn't realistic. Our good friends, the Roe's and the Cottrell's, were able to join us for our first dinner cruise of the summer. We floated on the lake for awhile and then headed over to another marina for dinner. We got lucky as a fabulous 2-person band was playing and they were very good! We can't wait for our next night on the lake!

Our lil miss Remi is growing up so fast! She is potty trained and now sleeping in a BIG GIRL BED! I have no idea where the time went but we couldn't be more proud of her. She has done awesome about going to bed and staying in bed. She only gets up when she needs to go to the bathroom. How did we get so lucky?!?!

Miss Jaedin is growing up!

We are SO proud of Jaedin! She is officially ready for 1st grade. We've been busy with Kindergarten recognition, awards assembly at school, and many other end-of-the year activities. She is growing into a wonderful girl...no more "little" needed. We "love you to the stars", Jae!!!

Awards Assembly - Jaedin received 2 awards! She was the top AR point earner for her class and she also got 100% on her SpellCheck spelling test (fundraiser for the school).
