Summer is a comin'....

We have a couple of new neighbors in our development which makes our kids very excited. Eric was out of town and we got home from a fun softball games so they kids begged to go on a bike ride. About that time, our neighbors came by so they all took off together for a late evening bike ride. So cute! They may have stayed up past their bedtime, they may have gotten stinky & sweaty, but hopefully they made some sweet memories. ;)

GOTR Bake Sale

Every season of Girls on the Run includes a community impact project. The girls brainstorm and work together to come up with a project that will positively impact those around them. This season, our team decided to have a bake sale and donate all proceeds to the American Red Cross.

The bake sale was HUGE hit with BLMS students!

SOOOO proud to say that our team raised $318.65!!!

Way to go, girls!!!

We have had a very fun season at BLMS! We ended the season with 21 very excited & proud girls. And they definitely have a A LOT to be proud of! :)

Career Fair

This year, I am once again teaching a course called Career Explorations. We held a career fair where students got to chose 4 sessions (out of 15) to attend. Talk about a fun opportunity! We have heard s many positive comments from students, parents, & staff for organizing this experience.

Jaedin and her 5th grade classmates went to Starbase in Kansas City for their spring field trip. They had 5 days worth of fun! Eric got to attend with Jae on her first day. My sweet friend, Nora, went with Jae on her fourth trip. BIG thanks to Nora for taking these pics. :)
