Talin's 1st Grade Field Trip

Talin and his 1st grade friends got to visit the Mulvane Art Museum in Topeka where they learned about paintings and explore the ArtLab.  They got to paint their own masterpiece as well as have free art time. Fun was had by all!

Celebrating the bride-to-be

My sister is getting married in 2 weeks! A small celebration with friends and family was definitely in order even if she insisted it wasn't necessary. So at a local restaurant with many that love her, we showered the beautiful bride-to-be with memories, smiles & love....and some gifts.  :)

Jaedin's Halloween Program

The 3rd graders put on a music program called The Halloween MisFits...it was excellent! Each class dressed a different part and performed skits in between musical numbers. Very impressed with the talent among the group of students. Jaedin had a speaking part and did excellent (even if the microphone didn't work the whole night!).

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We once again completed our annual visit to the pumpkin patch and even got lucky to time it just right on a beautiful Sunday! This year, we headed back to Schaake's in Lawrence because the kids love it and there is so much to do.  We each found our perfect pumpkin & can't wait to carve them into Jack O'lanterns next weekend.
