The picture above pretty much sums it up! I promise to get my blog updated soon; we have lots of fun things to share. Jaedin is done with school on Tuesday and I am done on Thursday. I am VERY excited to spend the summer at home with my kiddos.

Kobe's!

We took the kids to Kobe's Japanese Steak House for dinner. It was interesting & entertaining to say the least! My grandma was in town and she had never been either. Our family of 5 went along with nana & papa, my sister, her friend & Paige, our wonderful neighbors, and GG. Food was delicious and Talin now wants to be a police officer instead of a firefighter. He wasn't to fond of the fire being so close. Fun times!

PES Field Day 2010

One of the best activities at the end of the school year is field day. The kiddos have SO much fun! It was pretty hot & sunny but the kids played right through it.

Family Fun Night!

The wonderful Perry Pride organization planned a Family Fun Night. We loaded up the kiddos and headed out for a night of fun. The kids had a lot of fun at the cake walk, face painting, art station, and more. We are lucky to live in such a wonderful small town!

We miss you so much!

I just ran across these pictures and tears immediately started streaming. My sweet Jaedin is so thoughtful...I am so proud to be her mom! The kids and I have a habit of driving through the cemetery at least once a week to check on our amazing Aunt Madelyn who sadly passed away 3 years ago. Jaedin always reminds me to buy new flowers so we can visit her and say a little prayer. I am so thankful that Jaedin still remembers the wonderful lady that touched so many lives. We miss you so much, Aunt Mat! We think of you today & everyday.

5K...5K...5K...5K...5K!!!!!

I am now able to check one item off my bucket list...I ran my first 5K!!! My main goal was to run the whole thing. I did run the whole thing and I finished in 31 minutes. Running has been my stress reliever ~ it works wonderfully! Now I'm considering a 10K to get ready for my big goal...a 1/2 marathon!

PES Beach Party

Jaedin enjoyed some lemonade and sun...and a lot of sand during the PES Beach Party. The kids had a lot of fun playing sand volleyball during PE.

Happy 35th Birthday, Eric!

Eric turned 35 this year! To celebrate, the kids and I made him his favorite cake & decorated the house. I also had a small surprise party for Eric in Lawrence. A bunch of his "work" buddies as well as wonderful Perry neighbors, family & friends were able to join us for dinner and fun. I'm pretty sure he was surprised and I know he had a great time!
