So sleepy...

It may just me but I think sleeping kids at any age are precious. I have noticed lately that I have some pretty stinkin' cute sleeping kids. Here's some pics I've randomly taken.

New DANGEROUS toy

Yep, dad brought home another surprise. Mom isn't a fan of it...yet. Our kids do truly LOVE anything that makes noise and goes fast but their favorite thing to do is anything that is outside!

Trapped Leprechauns?

Jaedin was very excited to return to school after Spring Break...so she could see if she trapped any leprechauns with her fancy Leprechaun Trap. She strategically placed her "trap" by the exit door in the classroom. She was just sure she'd get the leprechaun as he entered the classroom. When she returned...she didn't find a leprechaun in her trap but she did find a classroom that had been visited and left in shambles. Chairs knocked over, crayon crates dumped out, mini furniture unorganized, gold coins & candy on the floor...but no sign of a trapped leprechaun. Maybe next year!

Playdate!

Our sweet friends Grae (3yrs) & Blakely (18mo) came over for a play date Thursday morning. We had so much fun playing outside in the beautiful sunshine and then we had a pizza picnic inside on a blanket. We can't wait to get together again soon!

St. Patrick's Day 2010

Despite the fact that it was rainy & cold, we had a lot of fun on St. Patrick's Day this year. Thanks to a wonderful friend/coworker, we started the morning off with some fun new (hand-me-down) toys. Check out these dollhouses...

After nap time, we made & decorated some yummy St. Patrick's Day cupcakes. Mmmmmm! We even delivered some of our specials treats to nana & papa and some wonderful neighbors.

Bon Jovi!!!!

Eric works A LOT of hours but when he calls and says he has Founder's Club concert tickets at Sprint Center...I suddenly love his job! He got us 4 tickets to Bon Jovi so we asked our friends/neighbors to go with us. They decided to book a hotel room for all of us as an added treat. We checked into the Westin, hit up a local happy hour and then took a taxi ride to Sprint Center. We walked right up to the Founder's Club door (no lines), got our wristbands, and rubbed elbows with Johnny Dare before heading to our great seats. What a way to start Spring Break! The food was yummy, the concert was great and the company was even better! Fun times!

Leprechaun Trap

Jaedin's homework (home learning) for the week was to design & build a Leprechaun Trap to leave out in her kindergarten classroom over spring break. Let's just say I learned what having a dad as a construction engineer means....the next 18 years of school could be interesting when projects come along. They had a blast coming up with ideas, shopping for accessories, and building the trap though. Jaedin can't wait to see if she catches a leprechaun. She even put her trap right by the door of her classroom, she is just sure she'll have a surprise when she goes back to school. However, she didn't want her leprechaun to get hurt or hungry so she made a soft landing in the box and put some marshmallows in it for a snack. So thoughtful! We'll update after spring break...
