Talin's teacher, Mrs. Feuerborn, is having a baby GIRL next month. We wanted to treat her with a surprise baby shower for being such an awesome teacher to a great group of first graders. I talked to the students when I had them in library about surprises, how to keep surprises, if they'd ever shared a surprise, etc. It was a priceless conversation. I wish I would have recorded it! They were all positive they could KEEP the surprise from Mrs. Feuerborn.

Each student wrote her a special note and we hid them inside diapers for her to find during middle-of-the-night changings. The kids thought this was hilarious!
Lots of new books!
Mrs. Feuerborn will be missed while she is on maternity leave.
