GG's 90th Birthday

My beautiful grandmother (GG) celebrated her 90th birthday on January 22nd. We had a birthday reception for her and I think most of Concordia came to show her love. :) I can only hope to have half of her spunk at that age! Amazing lady!!!

Happy National Peanut Butter Day

We celebrated with yummy PB&J, carrots & celery with peanut butter and, of course, Reese's Peanut Butter cups!

Pinewood Derby 2013

Talin experienced his first Pinewood Derby and did awesome! He got 1st place for Tiger Cubs (his troop) and 2nd place overall! He was beyond excited! And very proud that his car "beat the big kids cars". He might have gotten a little of his dad's competitiveness.

This is how Remi spent most of our Friday at home...

She was up in the night with a temp of 103.8. Poor thing!

After I picked Jaedin & Talin up from school, we enjoyed some time outside in the beautiful January weather! No coats & fresh air...just what the doctor ordered!

Our sweet neighbor delivered cookies to help everyone feel better at our house. It was definitely a sweet surprise we thoroughly enjoyed before bed!!!

My sanity...

I have drank so much coffee, cocoa & hot tea these last few days. My Keurig was definitely a gift that has continued to give! Now if only I could find some time to make a trip into Dunkin' Donuts to buy my very favorite K-cups.

I've also been filling my time by creating some new crock pot recipes.
